After numerous requests for an electric version of our large gas boats, the Atomik design team pulled out all the stops with a whopping 2000 watts of brushless electric power out of the stock 1100Kv outrunner mounted in a water-cooled CNC aluminum motor mount. All that power is controlled with a robust 120A water-cooled ESC for a 40+ mph out of the box top speed.

The hand-laid fiberglass hull features full color Atomik racing color scheme protected by a durable gel coat, pre-installed laser cut radio box and battery tray system, which will accompany a single 6S (22.2V) LiPO battery, but is also expandable for up to a 12S configuration. The A.R.C also comes standard with CNC Aluminum running hardware and the fully adjustable Flexdrive™ system for precise trim tuning.

  1. Just purchased the NEWLY factory updated 58″ atomic with the larger ESC that’s well and fine but there seems to be some confuson on the battery’s its either 1 22.2.c. or 2 30c. Lipos the 50c is 200$ or the 2. 30s. Are 175$ and you can’t get the 750mah. So atomic needs to clarify the 50c is only 6000 and the 2. 30c are 6400 confused to say the least so it looks a like its a 200$ crap shoot and at big$ the boat is too expensive to test any suggestions. The Atomik ARC runs best with two 11.1 30C or greater 5000+mAh packs. The boat is compatible with a 6S pack setup but you need to monitor your battery temperatures closely as we have found that battery temps can soar under extended stress.

  2. Rob,

I purchased this boat not knowing how it would perform. I am extremely happy that I made the purchase. It is a fun boat to operate and draws a whole lot of attention.

  3. Edgar,

Ok, so with what battery it runs the fastest? The 22.2V 20C+ 5000+mAh 6S or The Two 11.1V 30C+ 7500+mAh 3s.

    • jeffsimon217,

We would not recommend running a 20C pack in this particular boat. We did have good success with the 7500mAh 3S packs, but be sure to watch your electronics temperatures as extended run times can cause components to get too hot depending on your ambient temp/water temp. We hope this answers your question. Have a good one Edgar!

  4. Chris,

I am about to Purchase one, but i have a fleet of 2S Lipos High Discharge Rates rating between 50C, 65C-100C continious Disch., Can i run the on the ARC, for 2 Minutes -maybe 3 maybe minutes? Also have a 4S Pro-Tek 6700Mah maybe run 3 minutes, without reaching extreme temeratures? And if how long would you run it? maybe just 1 minute?

    • jeffsimon217,

Thanks for the question! We really would not recommend running anything less than the recommended configuration of two 3S packs with the stock electronics. Running two 2S packs would not only be very un-fun as it would be slow and sluggish to control, it would also run the risk of causing damage to the ESC.
