Event Name: Capital City Classic, NCT Stop #3

After a 6.5-hour drive from Venom HQ to Boise, Idaho, Venom arrived at stop number 3 on the Northwest Championship Tour (NCT).
Temperatures were reaching 90+ degrees all weekend, and up to 123 degrees inside the Venom pits…. boy was it a hot one! With 4 of Venom’s top northwest factory drivers in attendance, we were all anxious to see how the weekend would turn out.
In Qualifying, Venom driver Tim Hethcox set the TQ in 2wd modified buggy, 2wd modified SC, and 4×4 modified SC. “Suga” Shane set the TQ in 1/8 Pro Buggy and Mike Hudson qualified on top in 4wd modified buggy.
In the Mains, Tim Hethcox took 1st place in 2wd modified buggy, 1st place in modified truck, 1st place in 2wd modified SC, and 3rd place in 4×4 modified SC. Mike Hudson took 1st place in 4wd modified buggy, and 3rd place in 2wd modified buggy and modified truck. “Suga” Shane took 1st place in 4×4 modified SC, 1st place in 1/8 Pro Buggy, and 1st place in 1/8 Pro Truggy. Chad Nix took 2nd place in 2wd modified SC.
